In the Garden

The garden has become a recurring landscape within my work. A place where the visible and unseen meet. It is both sanctuary and wilderness, reflecting the tension between growth and struggle, longing and belonging. Within this space, figures move through tangled environments carrying an inner light that exists beyond their surroundings.

As the series continues to develop, quilt-like forms emerge as a new visual language within the garden. A trace of care, memory, and divine intention. These layered forms resemble pieces gathered and placed with purpose, reflecting the belief that our lives are not random fragments, but part of a greater design. They become evidence of the One who created and continues to tend the garden. Through this process, the surface of the work becomes a meditation on restoration, connection, and the unseen hand that lovingly pieced us together.
